HIS 329 Women and Gender in US History 3 credits
This course explores the history of women and gender in the United States from colonial era to the present. It examines the impacts of various social, economic, and cultural structures on the experiences of women and others, exploring how they were affected by, and how they themselves influenced the historic events of the nation. Previously offered as HIS 328: American Women’s History, and may not be re-taken under the new designation other than for purposes of grade replacement.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of one of the following: HIS 101, HIS 102, HIS 103, HIS 104, HIS 180, or HNR 200 Alternate years
