ENT 200 Introduction to Entrepreneurship 3 credits
This course provides students a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, the entrepreneurial mindset, and its role in economic development in creating business and social ventures. The course follows a life cycle approach beginning with idea generation and opportunity recognition, through the development of the business plan to create and start a new venture, with emphasis on the marketing, organization and financing planning. It also assesses legal and ethical considerations, financial management and funding for new ventures, scaling for growth, and strategies for harvesting the venture.
