MI 201 Advanced Patient Care
2 credits
Building on MI 200 Patient Care, this course utilizes a combination of lecture and lab to develop advanced clinical skills. Pharmacology, venipuncture, and administration of diagnostic contrast agents including patient education and assessment will be discussed. Related clinical skills will be demonstrated and practiced. The role of the Radiologic Technologist in acute situations and emergency response will be explained.
Prerequisite(s): MI 200
Spring only.
