END 508 Online Teaching and Learning

This course requires students to examine and use best practices in online instruction as aligned with the Teacher Effectiveness model (PDE) of teacher supervision and evaluation. Students will design and use strategies to encourage active learning, application, interaction, participation, and collaboration in the online learning environment; strategies to establish clear expectations, prompt responses, and regular feedback to promote student success; and incorporate accommodations into the online learning environment as appropriate to meet the diverse academic needs of learners.
