BIO 426 Issues in Conservation Biology 3 credits
Students will use problem-based learning to assess current issues in conservation biology and come up with feasible solutions to these issues. The course will apply student knowledge and experience to create proposed solutions to issues including habitat fragmentation, wetland management and delineation, pollution remediation, population bottlenecking, and other issues within the field of conservation.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 202 or ENV 200 Corequisite(s): BIO 341 or any Ecology and Evolution track course (see list in Biology major program description.
