DNP 702 Ethical, Legal, and Policy Considerations for the APRN

This course examines the emerging challenges in the current healthcare system related to bioethics, health policy, and legal considerations. Through interdisciplinary perspectives, the student will examine ethical dilemmas, policy implications, and legal frameworks impacting advanced practice nursing. Emphasis will be placed on critical analysis, ethical decision-making, and advocacy within complex healthcare systems. Topics include ethical principles, healthcare legislation, regulatory issues, and the intersection of law and healthcare delivery. The student will develop the knowledge and skills critical to navigating the ethical, policy, and legal challenges in advanced practice nursing.
