DNP 703 Perspectives on Leadership and Advanced Role Concepts for the DNP
3 credits
This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of fundamental leadership and advanced role concepts essential for practice as a DNP prepared advanced practice nurse. Through a learner-focused approach, students will explore key theoretical frameworks, the roles of advanced practice nurses, and expand on leadership, management and healthcare business concepts. Additionally, the course will familiarize students with healthcare delivery models, quality and safety initiatives, and the provision of healthcare for vulnerable, underserved, and diverse populations.
