DNP 707 Organizational Management and Systems Thinking for the DNP
3 credits
This course equips the DNP prepared APRN with the advanced knowledge and skills critical to effectively managing and providing leadership within complex healthcare organizations. Emphasis is placed on application of organizational theories and behaviors, understanding of individual behaviors, addressing intrapersonal and interpersonal issues, oversight of groups and teams, and leading effective change management. Additionally, overall organization wellness and the importance of personal well-being, resiliency, and self-care will be covered. By the end of the course, the student will be equipped to drive positive change within organizations, ultimately enhancing the quality and effectiveness of healthcare delivery.
