DNP 709 DNP Leadership Practicum
2 credits
This course will provide the DNP student with a practical leadership experience in a variety of healthcare settings. Students will apply advanced leadership skills, including strategic planning, quality improvement, policy development, financial planning and organizational management. Under the guidance of an experienced healthcare leader, the student will complete a minimum of 150 hours of leadership hours and engage in hands-on leadership activities to further prepare the student for a leadership role in providing healthcare as a DNP prepared advanced practice registered nurse.
