NSG 540 Advanced Pathophysiology for the APRN 3 credits
Students will learn and be able to apply fundamental knowledge of physiology and pathophysiology, essential to the diagnosis and management of health problems of individuals across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on genetic, cellular, and biochemical pathophysiology. A body systems approach is used to explore the etiology, pathophysiology, prevalence, and clinical manifestations of commonly occurring disease states managed by advanced practice providers.
