PSY 345 Art Therapy


3 credits

Art Therapy is a mental health treatment that uses art making as a springboard to help express feelings and emotions and to assist in processing through problems or difficult situations in life.  This class will serve as an overview of the mental health profession, focused on obtaining knowledge on the history and theories of art therapy, as well as discussing its methods and approaches.  Students will also engage in practicing some art therapy clinical applications.
