BIO 370 Biostatistics


3 credits

In this course, students will build on their existing statistical knowledge to analyze biological datasets. They will complete this course with a “statistical toolbox” that they can draw upon in experiences outside of the classroom, and outside of Misericordia. Students will learn more advanced statistical tests, data visualization, and coding in the R Programming Environment, including how to build interactive apps and other tools for sharing data. This course counts as an elective for the Biology, Environmental Science, and Statistics majors.

Prerequisite(s): BIO 202 Biological Interactions  or MTH 115 Basic Statistics
