AIH 101 Introduction to Arts in Healthcare
3 credits
This course provides a theoretical and historical survey of how the arts have been applied to promote health and wellbeing. Topics include history of the discipline; caring for caregivers; arts in health environments; community wellbeing; arts in health education; aesthetic approaches to the body; and inclusion, accessibility and specific populations. No previous experience in any artistic discipline is required.
