AIH 205 Transforming Healthcare Environments through the Arts
3 credits
A core focus of the Arts in Healthcare field is building an environment that fosters healing and wellbeing. This studio art course will introduce students to techniques that can be used in a variety of settings to promote empathy and resilience. Using two-dimensional and three-dimensional techniques, students will learn how aesthetic judgement can be used to enhance the relationship between patients, caregivers, and clinical staff.
