The writing minor is designed to help students become more at ease in a variety of writing situations. Students can choose to pursue “Professional” or “Creative” tracks within the minor, and are invited to take courses aligned with their intended careers or focus on the kinds of writing that reflect personal interest to them.
The minor consists of twelve credits of coursework (in addition to six credits of English core requirements) in either the Professional or Creative track, as indicated below:
