ENT 301 Financing Entrepreneurial Ventures


3 credits

This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the financial aspects of entrepreneurship. It provides an understanding of the revenue forecasting, budgeting and risk management important for financial decision making, and develops the skills necessary for financial modeling. It evaluates the sources of funding available to entrepreneurs and the valuation techniques for valuing startups and small businesses, including discounted cash flow analysis. The course also analyzes various exit strategies for entrepreneurs.

Prerequisite(s): ENT 200  and ACC 101
