DMS 310 Breast Sonography
3 credits
This course focuses on the knowledge required of an imaging specialist for the specialty in breast sonography. Topics include, but are not limited to, anatomy and physiology, physics of ultrasound for image optimization, imaging modalities, epidemiology nationally and internationally, pathophysiology of breast disease and treatment options. Current topics related to breast care and emerging technologies will be explored.
