NSG 529 Introduction to Clinical Management of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention in Advanced Practice Nursing


4 credits

Students will apply advanced physical assessment, diagnostic reasoning knowledge, and skills with individuals and families in primary care. The APN direct care, teaching-coaching and management of patient health/illness status role competencies will serve as a foundation for assessment and management of individuals and family health promotion needs and disease prevention services. Requires 135 clinical hours

Prerequisite(s):  NSG 526 Advanced Pharmacology for Primary Care  ;  NSG 527 Advanced Physiology and Pathophysiology  ; NSG 528 Advanced Physical Examination and Diagnostic Reasoning
