ENG 338 Writing in Healthcare Settings


3 credits

An introduction to the theory and practice of writing for healthcare settings. Students will apply classical rhetorical concepts (e.g., situation, audience, ethos, pathos, logos) as well as standard professional writing techniques (e.g., document design, planning, circulation, style) in a series of individual and group projects pertaining to the healthcare fields.

Prerequisite(s): University Writing Seminar and English Literature core requirements
