WRT 362 Rhetoric of Health and Medicine 3 credits
This course reviews the prevailing theories of rhetorical criticism related to health, medicine, and related fields. Studies may include the popular and professional representation of medical fields in writing, the use of rhetorical style in medical writing, the impact of rhetoric and professional discourse on diagnosis and treatment, and/or the use of rhetoric in clinical and public medical settings.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of University Writing Seminar First offered in 2024-25 academic year
